Pastor Tyler Parson

Pastor Tyler shepherds our flock through sound biblical teaching. He works with our elders to oversee spiritual health, equip new leaders, and execute our disciple-multiplying vision.
PT received his B.A. in Christian Education and Youth Ministry at Northwestern College (Orange City, IA). He is ordained in the Evangelical Free Church of America, and has served in full time pastoral ministry since 2006. Pastor Tyler and his wife, Mel, have have three children (Silas, Deacon, and Tabitha). PT enjoys spending time with his family (including their dog, a doodle named Bear), making music, reading, traveling, spicy food, and enjoying our Creator in His creation.

Claudia Rihner
Worship Coordinator

Claudia has been involved in music for most of her life. She plays guitar or keys and sings most

Sundays, but you may not have known that her primary instrument is violin! She holds a

Bachelor's of Music degree with an emphasis in Violin Performance from Iowa State University,

along with endorsements for K-12 instrumental music, vocal music, and orchestra. Claudia

taught in the public school system for 6 years as an Instrumental Music Instructor and has

served as a Worship Director prior to joining the CrossRidge family. In addition to her Worship

Coordinator position at CrossRidge, she is also a Realtor Associate with Re/Max Legacy, and a

part-time Business Administrator at Vision Care Clinic in Denison. You may also catch her

playing music all across Iowa with a variety of different country bands and under her stage

name, Claudia Coltrain Music. Claudia lives in Denison with her husband, Kevin, and her two

bernedoodle fur babies.

Monica Wellendorf

Ministry Assistant

Monica is currently part-time with our CrossRidge family. She has a banking career that spans 40+

years. She and her husband Joel are parents to two adult children: their daughter, Deanna (with her husband Jamie) and their son, Matt (with his wife Grace). Monica enjoys reading, listening to music, having coffee with friends, studying God’s word with her life group, and spending time with her family.
